‘The Perfect Storm’
Stuck in traffic in a Toyota Aygo with about 400 Snickers wrappers on the floor is probably not how many brides envision themselves on their wedding day, but that was the reality for Sam… well for a good 45 minutes at least. Yes, I was the worlds most unglamorous wedding chauffeur battling the Birmingham ‘perfect storm’ of traffic with the important task of getting Sam (or Swebb as I know her) and her Father to Fazeley Studios in Digbeth where her future husband was patiently waiting.
Little did we know when Swebb and I first met (about 13 years ago) that I would eventually have the privilege of capturing her big day…and waiting 20 minutes to take a right turn just a few metres away from the venue with only minutes to spare…eeeek!!! But we made it in time and Swebb was soon walking down the aisle to Lyndon where vows were made, rings exchanged and the party began! Check out the the pom pom confetti….sweeeeeeeet!
