Halstead House Wedding – Kayleigh & Steven
Bridal prep on the morning of a wedding is awesome…so much nervous excitement and lots of little stories unfolding all around me. Kayleigh’s wedding day took it up a level though with a bride, mother of the bride, six bridesmaids, two hairdressers, two makeup artists and a flower girl all in attendance. All this happening in their beautiful family home bathed in glorious light, a real photographer’s treat.
The ceremony took place just around the corner at St James’ Church in Newbold Verdon, after a lovely service in front of their nearest and dearest and a surprise appearance by the family pets (which included two dogs and a horse) the newly weds were whisked off to the evening reception at the wonderful Halstead House in Leicestershire, and the party began. The rain threatened at points but thankfully stayed away, and we were gifted with a lovely but fleeting sunset peeking over the rolling hills so we dashed out to take some portraits in the beautiful golden light. Thanks for letting me be a part of it guys, here is a little of what I saw:
Stunning stuff again Roo. Love the camper van portrait and that last frame is just epic!
