Halstead House Wedding Photography – Faye & Louis

After traveling the winding roads through beautiful hillsides and passing what seemed like 40,000 cyclists I arrived at Halstead House in Leicestershire, a dream venue for any wedding photographer. I had arrived early to scout the venue for portrait locations and I was not disappointed, the beautiful farm house buildings and cobbled paths were surrounded by a lake, archways of trees, rustic barns and dipping hills…. and the sun had got his hat on. The venue decoration was fantastic with a vintage tea party vibe. There was so much to look at and take in, mini suitcases full of toys for the kids, a vintage typewriter, beautiful table centre pieces, a washing line of polaroids, a Photo Booth created to look like a huge polaroid and I especially enjoyed the huge enlargement of one the images we captured during their engagement shoot ;).

Weddings are always such amazing occasions as they signify the beginning of a new family and what made this day even more special is that Faye’s three children and Louis’ two children would now be an awesome family of 5 kids. It was such a pleasure to get to document the occasion for them.
