Hare and Hounds Cotswolds Wedding Photography – Rachel & David
“Through Fields & Dancefloors”
Confronted by a herd of angry cows we had to do our best ninja impressions to sneak into the field as the last of the light poured across the Cotswold countryside. Darting across fields in a wedding dress and heels is certainly not for everyone, but Rachel, with the assistance of her new husband David, smashed it. Our persistence was awarded with beautiful golden light, Rachel and David embracing each other as they reflected on their incredible day.
With the entire day’s events taking place at the Hare and Hounds Tetbury in the Cotswolds, their family and friends had been treated to a wonderfully relaxed day with gorgeous weather and surroundings. Bridal prep with the girls was a team effort helping each other get ready whilst giggling at David’s letter in which he had drawn the dress he predicted Rachel would be wearing. Meanwhile, David was with the boys, dutifully helping them iron their shirts with an iron he insisted was broken, until it was revealed that it hadn’t yet been plugged in.
Fun and laughter was to be the theme of the day, theatrical readings from friends during the ceremony, Rachel’s sisters speech/rap to the tune of Fresh Prince of Bel Air and hilarious stories by David’s Best Men. It’s worth noting that there was an actual Best Man Olympics that had taken place to determine who would have the honour on the day!
Home Brewed Beer favours, a pork pie wedding cake and dance floor karaoke made this day a true reflection of their personalities…and a bloomin’ good knees up to boot!
Here is a little of what I saw:
Absolutely stunning mate! You totally smashed this one. Gorgeous frames.
Quality stuff again Roo. Those golden hour frames are just beautiful!
My word, Roo! So many great moments/reactions. And that sunset! Wow!
Wow… I loved the b&g afternoon portrait shoot and then got to the golden hour… Incredible work! 🙂
