West Mill Derby Wedding Photography

Ohhhh West Mill, you absolute beaut! This stunning wedding venue is nestled alongside the River Derwent in Derby and really is unlike any other. With it’s exposed brick walls, filament light bulbs and industrial charm it presented the perfect backdrop for Lizzie and James’ literary themed wedding.

There were library card table names, a selection of books to take home as wedding favours and literary references throughout the beautifully decorated venue. Lizzie spent the morning getting ready in the venue’s Bridal Suite which meant just a short walk around a corner to be alongside her future husband.

The weather was on our side and we were gifted some beautiful golden light at sunset so a short after dinner walk was in order to capture some portraits in the beautiful surroundings.
