Ansty Hall Wedding Photography – Natalie & Scott
Me: “We are about to have a beautiful sunset and there’s an awesome field over there…”
Natalie: “I’ll grab my wellies”
Natalie and Scott are my kind of people, a pair of fun loving legends not afraid of the dance floor or adventures across muddy fields in their best clobber. The whole day was an absolute blast from start to finish; the morning for the girls was all lemsip, Prosecco and wedding jigs and for the lads it was sausage batches, hip flasks and beer. The ceremony took place at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Bulkington and was not without incident as unfortunately one of the Vicars fainted mid ceremony…eek (luckily there were two in attendance)! Best man Dan stepped up to the plate to take over the absent Vicar’s hymn book holding duties, which meant he could no longer pull the classic ‘mime singing the hymns’ technique us blokes do so well. Dan’s close proximity to the Vicar’s microphone also ensured the entire congregation were able to clearly hear his attempts at belting out some church classics… I really felt for you dude.
The reception took place at Ansty Hall and as always was a fantastic venue for a good old knees up. Best men Dan and Nash smashed the speech Dave Gorman style with a brilliant power point presentation and after the room had been turned around, wedding band The Garters took to the stage, filling a dance floor that stayed that way for the rest of the night. My word, these guys know how to party. Glow sticks, rat heads (yep…see below) and impromptu renditions of Rappers Delight…this is how it’s done!!!
Thank you so much for having me along guys, here’s a little what I saw:
