Garden Marquee Wedding Photography – Anna & Simon
“The beginning of a grand adventure”
Planning a wedding can be tough, even more so when you are about to start a new life on the other side the planet! Mere weeks before they were due to emigrate to Australia Simon and Anna held a stunning DIY celebration in Simon’s parents back garden. The ceremony took place at the nearby St Mary’s church in Tenbury Wells with beautiful readings, one of which was a poem written by Anna’s late father, an incredibly emotional moment impeccably delivered by Anna’s young cousin.
Once the knot had been tied it was onto Simon’s parent’s house to the fantastic teepee that was styled in rustic charm with hints of Scottish heritage, there was even a dog in a kilt! The weather took a turn for the worst but nothing could stifle the party vibes with a badass Ceilidh kicking off in the barn.
The storm gave in just as golden hour approached and we were blessed with some stunning light so dashed outside to grab some portraits just as a rainbow arced above us.
Such a beautiful day and an absolute pleasure to be a part of, here is a little of what I saw:
Some killer frames in there Roo. Absolutely love that shot of the bride in the mirror, brilliant!
