The Punchbowl Lapworth Wedding Photography – Sarah & Luke

I had been looking forward to this one ever since the Pre-wedding shoot with Sarah and Luke in Lickey Hills, Solihull. We had a good chat about the plans for the big day and kept our fingers crossed for good weather and a nice sunset, as Sarah loves them just as much as I do. Despite a very wet build up, we were gifted awesome weather on the wedding day and I could tell it was all going to come together. I spent the morning with the girls as they got ready, a total of three baby bumps including Sarah’s and I also think Sarah’s awesome niece Lauren could be a photography assistant in the making as she followed me around all morning pointing out things to take photographs of… which mainly consisted of her toys ….and food.

The ceremony took place at St Alphege Church, Solihull in front of 60 of their nearest and dearest and afterwards to the Punchbowl in Lapworth a beautifully decorated venue, the perfect place to accommodate a relaxed and intimate celebration of Sarah and Luke’s love. It really was an amazing day, the rain stayed away and Sarah got her sunset. In three months time they will be welcoming Baby Hicks into the world and I am incredibly grateful that I was able to capture the start of a new chapter in their lives.
